A rather traditional milk stout, taken up a notch by the additional of Cuban and Brazilian coffee, freshly roasted by our friends at C4 Coffee. Honourably named after New Zealand's national style of barista coffee. A title that has been wrestled away from freeze dried instant coffee and made our country one of the best coffee nations in the world. In our own humble opinion... Brewed with coffee, vanilla beans and lactose
A rush of caramel, and dark chocolate on the nose, followed by roasted grains, molasses and liquorice.
A fruit infused Porter that has been left to age for 12 months. A smooth chocolate start followed by a Raspberry surprise. Limited release so don't miss out!
9-5 Bound, Spiced Apple Crumble Imperial Stout. She’ll hold you tight until you shout. The safe word is “SMOKO.” A Spicy little number with a apple spice chaser. Oh behave baby! Coined for our own blend of froots and spices, crafted especially for the Scare Beers special release range.
We like to think of this Porter as an historic artefact, retelling the stories of how this style oiled the wheels of the industrial revolution and was the thirst-quenching beer of the masses. This London-style brown Porter has lots of chewy English style malts, all grown locally of course our Porter is a fantastic showcase of NZ malts. Caramel sweetness, coffee and milk chocolate notes, drawn from deeply roasted malts, create a complex combination of fine flavour. A great style to slowly sip on over long conversations about how good dark beer really is!
This coffee stout is a must for coffee-lovers! A big, bold, black as night stout with a tan head. Flavours include dark plum, chocolate and of course a massive hit of coffee from the Black Shag Coffee Boutique cafe.
Alchemy Street Brewing - Luchador Like drinking a Mexican hot chocolate. Luchador is brewed with Scotch Bonnet chillies and dry spiced with the perfect amount of Cacao and Cinnamon to enhance the chocolate notes of the dark malts.
