Canyon Gold Lager

The brewers took a dry pilsner base and added Kaitaia Fire Chili sauce for one brilliant, seasonal brew. This crisp and crushable Cerveza is made using malted barley, maize, NZ hops, a zesty punch of lime and a twist of Quantum Brite Citra. Come get a cool and crisp cerveza, and put your head in the sand. Adjuncts: Brewers Clarex.
A light golden colour, true to the pilsner style. As a pilsner it’s a hop dominated brew with three hop varieties; Cascade, Green Bullet and Nelson Sauvin. These give the initial hit of citrus fruit and fresh green hop character.
This is a classic NZ Pilsner. Brewed using a single hop - Motueka - from Garston Hops. It has a golden straw colour with bright white head. The aroma has a distinct German Lager smell with hints of lime and lemon. The flavour is light and the lime and lemon come through in a subtle way. A very sessionable beer!
