Refreshingly dry and drinkable with balanced heat, Far North Chili Pils is the perfect compliment to every perfect summer day ahead. The brewers took a dry pilsner base and added Kaitaia Fire Chili sauce for one brilliant, seasonal brew. A stellar pair to anything off the grill, find it in bottles and on taps at fine independents as Kiwi summer rolls on.

Filled to the brim with a blend of American and NZ hops, there’s nothing traditional about this.

We love food-friendly, trad styles here at Aliment, & this Munich Helles melds only German malt, yeast & hops for a bona fide pedigree. With clean fermentation, a hint of herbal Hallertau hops over smooth malt & body, it has just enough bitterness to keep it refreshing. Named after our German-Kiwi friend Andy, it’s rooted in tradition, has good taste & is always great to have around.

Riwaka hopped NZ Pilsner

Traditional earthy German Lager. Malt dominant. Delicate aroma with a touch of spice and honey.

Märzen lager. Elegant, bright, copper, malty, toasty, dry!

Classic Nz Pils hopped with Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka.

Pilsner is a blonde lager that gets its name from the Bohemian city of Pilsen, first produced in 1842. using the lager yeast strain it's far more tolerant to cold temperatures than Ale yeast strains are. The suppressive effects of the cold temperatures typically used to brew a lager (coupled with their longer aging times) results in a cleaner flavour profile than you might otherwise find in an ale... our youngest addition to the menu, but likely a mainstay, Scotts NZ Pilsner is crisp, dry & good clean fun!
