Triple Chocolate Milk Stout
This beer is an ode to chocolate. For once I was lost for words while describing it. But, after it won Peoples Choice at Beervana 2016, plenty of people helped me describe it. Here we go: Chocolate goodness. Pudding in a glass. Just like a chocolate milkshake only beery. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. Much chocolate, much wow!. Chocolate as F*%K. Like drinking melted chocolate from a glass. Back for a good time not a long time. If you like chocolate you should probably take this home. have it after dinner. We don’t want you to ruin your appetite. mmmmmm chocolate.
A smooth and roasty stout with layered malt complexity from ale, Vienna, brown, and roast barley malts, balanced by classic English hops and a clean finish.
A bold, malt-forward stout bursting with rich roasted flavors and a punch of Citra and Simcoe hops — the bigger, bolder sibling of Phantom Lord! Ruler of all things dark and hoppy.
Low stone fruit hop character for this malt driven beer. Chocolate, coffee and vanilla notes.
"A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men." So take a break and treat yo' self we're nothing like a f****ng elf. They make toys and we make beer, so which one really brings more cheer? You know the answer now and then but might forget if you have ten. 440mls of Porter's Might will bring you chocolate orange delight.
This coffee stout is a must for coffee-lovers! A big, bold, black as night stout with a tan head. Flavours include dark plum, chocolate and of course a massive hit of coffee from the Black Shag Coffee Boutique cafe.
We like to think of this Porter as an historic artefact, retelling the stories of how this style oiled the wheels of the industrial revolution and was the thirst-quenching beer of the masses. This London-style brown Porter has lots of chewy English style malts, all grown locally of course our Porter is a fantastic showcase of NZ malts. Caramel sweetness, coffee and milk chocolate notes, drawn from deeply roasted malts, create a complex combination of fine flavour. A great style to slowly sip on over long conversations about how good dark beer really is!
