Embracing an old family secret from Portugal, this Ginja (short for Ginjinha) is a traditional Portuguese liqueur made with sour cherries. To make our Segredo Ginja, we infused Central Otago sour cherries with our Segredo Aguardente, a spirit made by small-batch distillation of Māori Point Pinot Noir pressings.

A smooth yet bold flavoured whisky with rich caramel, a hit of sea salt, and soft vanilla. Full-flavoured, easy to drink, and packed with decadence. Smooth. Indulgent. Bold.

Embracing an old family secret from Portugal, this aguardente is crafted in Central Otago from pressings of Māori Point Pinot Noir. Distilled in a traditional small batch copper still, it reveals intensity, yet also a subtle filigree expression of vineyard and wine.
